These tools helped automate invoicing, revenue recognition, reporting, and large parts of the monthly close. ‘Certinia makes our processes more efficient and reliable,’ says Francesca. ‘Key calculations like revenue recognition and consolidation are now system-based. Internal controls are embedded. And thanks to the native Salesforce integration, we spend far less time on data checks and reconciliations.’
Measurable results
Certinia went live on October 1, 2024. Three months ahead of schedule. This allowed the finance team to complete the 2024 year-end close fully within the new platform. ‘Our external auditor reviewed it immediately,’ Francesca says. ‘We saw a clear drop in control issues and better data quality overall. And in Q1 of 2025, we’ve already invoiced around 25% more than in the same period the previous year.’ Top Employers aims to further reduce the closing cycle to four days by the end of 2025.

Not just technically, but also financially. During the summer UAT phase, when part of our team was out on holiday, CBEE jumped in immediately and helped us prioritize.
