But fast growth through acquisitions comes with challenges. IG&H now has entities in Portugal, Germany and Poland. ‘We’re building towards a multi-currency setup, so we can support different currencies in each region,’ says Mathijs. ‘The standard functionality gets us a long way and where needed, CBEE Remarkable helps us build for the future. The goal remains the same – one version of the truth, accessible to everyone.’
Some acquisitions came with a large volume of staffing contracts. ‘Thanks to CBEE Remarkable, we now process those directly in Salesforce,’ Mathijs explains. ‘We also built a portal using Experience Cloud. Clients can approve hours, managers get automatic notifications, and invoices are generated right after approval. It’s faster, clearer and helps the entire organisation work more efficiently.’
The result is clear. ‘We now process more than twice the number of projects and invoices, with hardly any expansion of the finance team,’ Mathijs highlights. ‘Efficiency and automation free up our people to focus on real value instead of repetitive tasks. By optimising processes and automating where possible, we save hours of manual work. And because everything is in one system, we have real-time financial insight across all entities.’
